Walida's professional experience in health technology transfer has led her to work with emerging technologies in the pharma, biopharma, and digital health sectors. As part of the Academic Venture Exchange, Walida conducted scientific due diligence and led partnership conversations with the nation's leading universities. Walida has worked with various incubators, accelerators, and pre-Series A spin offs to ensure seamless transition of scientific research into entrepreneurial ventures. She has also made significant contributions in strategy and portfolio development for a Series B AI-driven biotherapeutics company.
Her commitment to research and entrepreneurship is evident through her long-term participation in the NSF’s Innovation Corps. Walida holds a B.S. in Biomolecular Sciences with a minor in Applied Mathematics and an M.S. in Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship from New York University.
