Carmit is a recognized expert in medical affairs and health innovation, with over 15 years of experience spanning pre-clinical research, prototyping, clinical trials, medical affairs, and market access. She has advised organizations ranging from pre-seed startups to multinational healthcare companies on aligning clinical development, regulatory strategy, and commercialization planning. Her background includes leadership roles at Novartis, Leal Health, and a founder of an AI based oncology startup, with therapeutic expertise across oncology, hematology, immunology, targeted therapies, diabetes, and lung disease.

At Dream Big Health, Carmit supports medical device, diagnostics, digital health, AI-based, and targeted therapy ventures in navigating U.S. market entry. She specializes in translating clinical innovation into credible payer, provider, and investor-facing strategies, with a focus on early-stage readiness and cross-functional alignment. She holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and has authored peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals including Nature Medicine, Cell Reports, and PLOS Biology. Carmit regularly contributes to international innovation programs, conference presentations, and startup accelerators across Israel, Europe, and the U.S.
