Ana has a passion for creating effective and sustainable healthcare systems through increasing cost transparency and informing value-based care. She is the founder of the TDABC (Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing) in Healthcare consortium and has conducted dozens of TDABC and healthcare management research undertakings and consulting projects both domestically and globally. She has penned over 150 peer-reviewed publications focusing on HEOR, value-based care, and value creation, which can be found in esteemed journals such as NEJM Catalyst, Value in Healthcare and many more.
Ana holds positions at Avant-Garde Health (Boston), the National Institute for Health Technology Assessment (IATS), and academic titles in Epidemiology at UFRGS and the School of Technology at the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from UFRGS in Brazil and completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Epidemiology at UFRGS in collaboration with Brigham Women’s Hospital in Boston.
